Capsules will make from tree instead of colognes of animals – Health Minister (J.P.Nadda)
The Ministry of Health has prepared a team of experts to make capsules made from plants instead of capsules made from colognes of animals. The Ministry has issued notice in this matter and sought the opinion of the parties concerned. Earlier, Central Women and Child Welfare Minister Maneka Gandhi had advised the Health Ministry to take necessary steps to use capsules made from plants instead of gelatin capsules. After which the Health Ministry had formed a team in March for this.
He declares to tell all that gelatin capsules are made from colognes found in animals, bones, muscles, and skin. About 98 percent of the pharmaceutical companies use gelatin capsules made from Cologne to meet animals. Only 2 percent of the companies are made capsules from tree plants in which India-based Associate Capsules and second American Capsuga are included. Maneka Gandhi had told Health Minister JP Nadda in March last year that the use of gelatine capsules causes millions of vegetarians to suffer because of which many people are not willing to consume medicines. Apart from this, a presentation was given to the Health Minister Nadda in the context of Jain religion followers in which the Jain community delegation had said that when we have the options available, colognes made from animals are not allowed.
Capsules made from trees are easily digested in comparison to common capsules. But the other aspect is that capsules made from trees are slightly more expensive than capsules from colognes of animals.
